Nuclear Power Energy
We are getting closer and closer to the end of this term, so we need to get our assignments done as soon as possible.
One of our assignments is "My own focus".
I have chosen the nuclear power to talk about. Please feel free to feed me back ^_^

There are a lot of new clean energies or we can say sufficient energies. They are called clean because they have less carbon emissions and pollution. One of these energies is nuclear power energy. Let’s discuss the advantages and disadvantages of this energy source.
One of the most important advantages of nuclear power is that it doesn’t have greenhouse or acid rain effects. This means it doesn’t pollute the air as well as the dropping rain. Another advantage is that its waste is more compacted than other sources. So, it doesn’t need too much space for its waste. Moreover, the fuel which is used to produce this energy is inexpensive according to other fuels of sources. In addition to the advantages, the transportation of the fuel can be done easily without worries.
Although there are some advantages of nuclear power, there are also some disadvantages. First, nuclear explosions produce radiation. Nuclear radiation affects the cell body of the human harmfully which can make people sick and sometimes can kill them as well. Another disadvantage is that nuclear reactors produce waste which produces a dangerous radiation which also harms the cells of human body and it can kill people if it touches their skin. This waste can’t be thrown away like any other wastes, therefore it should be kept completely away by storing in special cooling pools.
Overall, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. In my opinion, if people deal correctly with this kind of energy, there will be clean energy without any harmful emissions through the air.

":" TDIC Project ":"
Qasr Al Sarab is the hotel that I liked the least. First, its location is very far from Abu Dhabi city and almost nothing is beside it. Second, I didn’t like its traditional and simple designing. Third, it contains about 150 rooms which are few in contrast with other projects.

:|| Cool Cities ||:
This is my writing about the cool cities.
Hope you like it :) please feed me back
Many countries are trying to make their cities cool and clean by using many different efficient ways. There are advantages and disadvantages for cooling solutions depending on the regions and I will talk about three ideas for each that can or can’t be applied in the UAE.
UAE government can manage to place water misters around the cities to cool them. Water supply is low but UAE can get water from desalination. Another possible solution is planting. It costs money but I think UAE can afford it. Shading the buildings can also cool the inside temperature.
There are other solutions but it may not be suitable for UAE. First, people can use public transportation instead of personal cars. This is difficult because locals used to have their own cars and the government can't force them to use public transportations. Reducing the usage of air conditioners is a good solution but it’s difficult to apply it here especially in summer because the temperature is too high. It goes up to 50 C in the summer. Using clean energy like waterfalls energy is useful but there are no waterfalls in the UAE.
In conclusion, each country knows what is suitable and good for itself so it can apply the best solutions to cool its cities.
All the best for all cities ^_^

Every one has a carbon footprint because we all live in this planet and have our affects on it. Carbon footprint is a measurement of the affects of a human on the environment in terms of the amount of green house gases which are produced on earth. Personally, I have done a quiz to check my carbon footprint and I’ve got a score of 2.95 which is below the UK average. I eat fish and meat very often so I need to reduce that a bit. My travel affects percentage is about 20% and I think it is normal. My home energy using is good compared with buying new things for home which is the worse in my score.
There are many different problems in each one’s affects on the environment. For example, some people travel too much and cause air pollution and some use their machines very often. According to my quiz results, there are three main footprint problems. One problem is that I buy too many home stuff such as refrigerators and that sort of things. In addition, I travel about 3 times a year to different places with different distances. This absolutely pollutes the air because of the planes waste. Moreover, I eat meat and fish very often and oppositely, I rarely eat vegetables. Eating meat and fish required transportations of these foods, so again this will pollute the air. Cows and goats are also eating the grass the plants which take the carbon dioxide and give oxygen.
Actually, everyone can improve his footprint by reducing the usage of unnecessary things. In my case, I should reduce my traveling trips by plane as much as I can. It will be useful to use the public transportations instead of using my own car which produces too much pollution. Eating vegetables and fruits would reduce my footprint disadvantages.
In conclusion, everybody should be aware of his own footprint and try to improve it as much as he can to save our planet or at least to reduce the current pollution, so we get a clean healthy air.

Review of “An Inconvenient Truth”
The movie is excellent. I really found it very useful and interesting. Mr. Algore's presenting was cool and has alot of realitites.
In my opinion, people should be aware of this problem and have to face it immediately because if they just wait until they can't control anything! It will be really hard for all people who live in this planet. I think there are many soultions to face or at least reduce this warming. There are alternative power sources such as nuclear power. I hope we see quick moving from the countries solving this serious problem.

Summary of “An Inconvenient Truth”
I have seen the movie "An Inconvenient Truth" and I would like to write a summary for you to read.
![](http://llamabutchers.mu.nu/archives/an_inconvenient_truth%20al%20gore%20fat.jpg)
Yesterday, I saw a documentary movie called “Inconvenient Truth” with my colleagues and it was about global warming which was explained by Albert Gore Jr.
As he mentioned, the heat of the sun comes to the earth and is stored within the earth and the atmosphere layer. Increasing of CO2 is also a serious problem that heats the earth and then the weather gets warmer. This has changed many areas of many countries during the last 50 years. The higher level record of CO2 ever was recorded in 2005 and it is getting higher and higher. High temperature in the sea causes typhoons, tornados as well as flooding. Increased soil moisture evaporation which is caused by the heat causes the cracks in mountains, affects the whole earth. The most areas which are affected from global warming are the two poles of the earth. A lot of ice areas have melted and we will lose much more in the next years. The ice area in the world decreased by 40% within 40 years. Coral reefs also didn’t survive and their nice colors have been changed because of global warming.
In conclusion, the movie talks briefly about the global warming and it’s affect on earth and some solutions like reducing the use of power that pollute out planet.
here is a link of an Ecard of the movie :)

There is a new glass factory in the U.S.A. The factory want to show the people how strong its glass is. So, they have put about one million dollar between two glasses and it is without any security. The one who can break this glass can get the million!
You can see the picture and here is a link to know more about it.
