Nuclear Power Energy

Dear all,

We are getting closer and closer to the end of this term, so we need to get our assignments done as soon as possible.

One of our assignments is "My own focus".

I have chosen the nuclear power to talk about. Please feel free to feed me back ^_^

Nuclear Power Energy

There are a lot of new clean energies or we can say sufficient energies. They are called clean because they have less carbon emissions and pollution. One of these energies is nuclear power energy. Let’s discuss the advantages and disadvantages of this energy source.

One of the most important advantages of nuclear power is that it doesn’t have greenhouse or acid rain effects. This means it doesn’t pollute the air as well as the dropping rain. Another advantage is that its waste is more compacted than other sources. So, it doesn’t need too much space for its waste. Moreover, the fuel which is used to produce this energy is inexpensive according to other fuels of sources. In addition to the advantages, the transportation of the fuel can be done easily without worries.

Although there are some advantages of nuclear power, there are also some disadvantages. First, nuclear explosions produce radiation. Nuclear radiation affects the cell body of the human harmfully which can make people sick and sometimes can kill them as well. Another disadvantage is that nuclear reactors produce waste which produces a dangerous radiation which also harms the cells of human body and it can kill people if it touches their skin. This waste can’t be thrown away like any other wastes, therefore it should be kept completely away by storing in special cooling pools.

Overall, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. In my opinion, if people deal correctly with this kind of energy, there will be clean energy without any harmful emissions through the air.

Very nice topic and clean energy Jassem

I didn't know that much about nuclear power
I watched the videos and I what amazed me that a very small amount of uranium can produce a huge amount of energy that can support a house for a whole year :|

UAE should start using this energy to produce sufficient and clean energy

Best wishes

Hi Jasem,

nuclear power is one of the alternative energies as we know. but the difference between them, the nuclear needs the uranium which is very dangerous to deal with.

Nice and useful subject ...

Dear Mohamed,

Yes I agree with you. What's the problem if we deal carefully with it?

great solution

but i believe that we cant do any thing to apply it

because it depend on the government facilities

nice posting

i agree that nuclear is a good solution to reduce the global warming by reduce the CO2 emission.

Thanks jassim:)

Dear Al Shatri,

I don't agree with you. We can apply it because we have all the facilities.

My regards to you,
